“This has got to be the closest example on earth of what heaven is truly like. We enjoyed hiking on the many trails and just when a break was needed, there would be a resting spot with chairs to relax in. The view is awesome. The treats in the basket were yummy.”
-E & B, Port Orchard, WA
“We’ve visited a lot of mountain retreats, but the view out your western windows takes the prize. One of the most remembered new Year’s Holiday will be this visit to Sky Meadows. You have really thought about everything to make your guests feel comfortable and tucked in.”
- L & E, Salem, OR
"What a great place and such breathtaking views! We wish we had more time to explore the hiking trails and the area. We'll be back! - L & F, Sublimity, OR
"Thank you for sharing your secret mountain retreat with us. Your cinnamon rolls were amazing. This was a perfect place to come as we plan our wedding. We will definitely come back for many years."
- Beth & Chris, Bellevue, WA
"Terri, AJ and Sonny,
Oh how we needed this retreat! Thank you so much for sharing your slice of paradise with us! What a spectacular setting you have here. We enjoyed walking the trails on your property, especially seeing the wild flowers and family of Great Horned Owls. Thank you again for a perfect stay."
- Adele & Mark, Federal Way, WA
"We came to celebrate a birthday and a new beginning and found paradise! Thank you so much for the cabin in the sky. We arrived in the night by the light of a full moon thinking we were driving up to the moon! And to wake up with this view- the true meaning of a get-a-away. Everyone should have a chance to experience such beauty, peacefulness, and incredible hospitality. Every state, every country has its places that cannot be described with words...this is yours.
Thanks again,
- Jill, Edwin & Charolotte, Sogamoso, Colombia (South America) |
What makes our Bed & Breakfast exceptional is that it seems like you're in your own private world. Each season here at Sky Meadows Bed & Breakfast is unique in itself.
Springtime
Springtime
offers our guests the opportunity to walk the trails on our forty acres and observe the multitude of wild flowers in bloom. Along these trails are several benches that overlook the mountains and valley below. These areas are a wonderful place to sit and read a book or just take in the truly spectacular scenery. Artists, photographers and writers would appreciate the inspirational atmosphere here at Sky Meadows Bed & Breakfast.
Summertime
Summer is the season for sun lovers! Sit out on the lawn chairs outside your
private suite and take in the "rays". For adventure there is hiking, mountain biking and river rafting just minutes from Sky Meadows Bed & Breakfast. (See our activities page for more information)
Fall
Fall is remarkable for its array of colors that are produced by the changing colors of the Aspens and the other deciduous trees. The reddish orange hues of the sunsets in the fall, as the sun sinks in the west behind Mt. Cashmere, are truly memorable.
Winter
Winter is great for fun in the snow here at Sky Meadows. We have snowshoes available for our guests. After a snowshoe around the property, get cozy by the blazing wood stove or enjoy soaking in the outdoor hot tub
or relax in the sauna. Skiing, both downhill and cross country, are less than an hour drive from Sky Meadows B&B. (See our activities page for more information)
Sky Meadows Bed & Breakfast is located four miles from Cashmere and ten miles from Leavenworth or Wenatchee. We are a short one hour scenic drive from Lake Chelan or Lake Wenatchee. You have the best of both worlds and that is why we love it here so much. Please come join us and experience what we are so fortunate to enjoy on a daily basis.
While some Bed and Breakfast properties may offer one or two
seasonal activities, the Sky Meadows Bed and Breakfast provides
year-round comfortable accommodations. Situated in a location where
guests can enjoy outdoor leisure activities, shopping and fine dining,
the Sky Meadows Bed and Breakfast is just four miles away from
Cashmere, WA and approximately ten miles from Leavenworth and

landscape.
Wenatchee River is an excellent river for rafting or floating in June and
July. The river is located just ten minutes from our B & B. As the snow melts, spring and summer means
days begin to lengthen. As more sunlight extends each day, guests can
take advantage of early morning and evening bird watching sessions,
mountainside biking trails, or just rest in one of the Sky Meadows Bed
and Breakfast’s lawn chairs. Transitioning into the fall months,
relaxing outside of your suite and traversing the Bed and
Breakfast’s expansive grounds provides guests with numerous
opportunities to enjoy autumn’s bright color palettes against towering
Mt. Cashmere.
Off-Site Recreational Opportunities
While many people will simply not want to leave the Sky Meadows
Bed and Breakfast’s guest suite, those seeking in-town and outdoor
excursions will find the North Central Washington area offers plenty of
activity choices. Guests who enjoy a Bavarian Village will definitely want
to celebrate Oktoberfest in nearby Leavenworth. Another type of village, the
Cashmere Pioneer Village and Museum is located in Cashmere, along with an
antique mall, a new distillery and several new wine tasting rooms.
Outdoor enthusiasts will want to ski Mission Ridge
and Steven’s Pass, located just an hour away. In the summer months,
Devil’s Gulch is popular with mountain bikers and is just a short
drive or ride away. Finally, if looking to explore the great outdoors
on foot, while staying close to home, the Sky Meadows Bed and
Breakfast provides hikers with two miles of on-property trails. Sincerely, AJ & Terri King |
