Activities in North Central Washington are many and varied. For additional detailed information click on the highlighted links. Closest to our Bed and Breakfast are the Cashmere Pioneer Village and Museum, Apple Annies Antique Mall, and Aplets & Cotlets/Liberty Orchards. Cashmere now has it's first and only Micro Brewery, call 509-782-HOPS. All of these locations are just four miles from Sky Meadows Retreat.

Twenty minutes East of here is the beautiful nationally acclaimed Ohme Gardens County Park. For a tour of one of many dams on the Columbia River, visit Rocky Reach Dam.

A one hour drive will lead you to the wineries of the Lake Chelan area. Contact Columbia Cascade Wines. In addition, there are at least six wineries less than a 30 minute drive from here. Leavenworth has ten wine tasting rooms for your sampling pleasure.

Speaking of Leavenworth, you don't want to miss the Christmas Lighting, October Fest, Autumn Leaf Festival and The Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest www.leavenworth.org. Check out www.iciclearts.org for a calendar of events for everything from theater to jazz. They are just ten short scenic miles from Sky Meadows Retreat.

For the outdoor enthusiast the sky is the limit. If the two miles of hiking trails here on the property, and the scenic sitting areas are too tame for you, then check out some of these scenes. Hiking in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness is world renown and you must have a permit to visit this wilderness area.

For the mountain bikers, Devil's Gulch is practically in our backyard. There are numerous other mountain biking trails located a short drive from here. The river rafting on the Wenatchee River can be quite exhilarating in the Spring time and early Summer.
